Harz Eco Lodges are centrally located in Germany, making it easily accessible from many parts of Europe.

Within roughly five hours by car, you can reach us from southern Denmark, northern France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and western Poland – making it the ideal destination for a short getaway or weekend trip.

For those arriving by air, international airports in Hannover and Leipzig are conveniently close and well connected by both car and train. Frankfurt Airport, with its wide range of intercontinental flights, is just three hours away.

in Bad Sachsa

Bad Sachsa is a small town and spa town on the sunny, southern edge of the Harz Mountains in Germany. With its climate and location amidst up to 600-meter-high mountains, Bad Sachsa is the ideal place for both a relaxing, and an active vacation in any season. The park grounds are right at the edge of the forest, in the valley called 'Borntal'. From here you have direct access to the UNESCO GEO Park Harz. Treat yourself to the magnificent view from the legendary Brocken after a steep climb. The Harz landscape makes your visit to one of Germany's largest national parks a special experience in every season.

 

A brand new vacation park

On September 26 , we will open the doors of the first 21 Eco Lodges and will be happy to welcome the first guests. The second phase of the project will be completed by mid-December and by Easter 2026 our park will be completely finished, with a total of 83 beautiful Eco Lodges

We would like to remind our first guests that there may be minimal inconvenience from completion work. Therefore, we are offering the First Visitors Rate, with which you can enjoy your stay in the Harz with an additional 20% discount. During the Christmas vacations there is temporarily no construction work and there will be no inconvenience to guests anyway. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about this.
